The Macao Arts Festival, now in its 28th edition, will have a MOP4 million reduction in its budget this year, as announced by local broadcaster TDM. The festival, this year receiving a budget of MOP23 million, will live up to the example given in previous years, despite the reduction, according to statements made at the press conference held yesterday. Running for a total of 34 days, from April 28 to May 31, the festival will open with ‘Play and Play: An evening of Movement and Music’ an hour and a half long dance piece.
