The Chief Executive, Fernando Chui Sai On, is to depart today to Fujian for the opening of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). Macau has set up a pavilion to introduce its investment environment and services to the participants in the fair. The trade promotion event is organised by the Ministry of Commerce and it takes place on September 8 – 11 every year in Xiamen. The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute has organised almost 100 representatives from Macau’s business circles to attend CIFIT. Members of Macau’s official delegation include the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Francis Tam Pak Yuen, and a number of senior officials from different entities.
