Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has said his government will refrain from increasing its spending in his second term, TDM reports. The public broadcaster quotes Mr Chui as saying in Beijing that resistance to increasing spending is a guiding principle of his programme for government reform. In campaigning for his second term, Mr Chui said he would streamline the government to prevent resources being wasted.
