Macau (MNA) – Last year’s Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix winner Daniel Ticktum again finished with the best time in the second qualifying race of this year’s FIA competition and will start in pole position on Saturday’s race.

The Motorpark Academy driver managed a 02:09.910s time, followed by Carlin’s drivers Callum Ilott and Sacha Fenestraz.

Fenestraz is driving a Dallara-Volkswagen decorated in honor of famous comic book motorsports driver Michel Vaillant for the second year.

Macau driver and only local participant in the FIA F3 World Cup, Leong Hon Chio, finished in 20th with 02:12.943s, after a 25th place in the first race of the competition yesterday.

The FIA F3 World Cup 10 laps final qualification race will take place on Saturday at 9:00 am.
