Macau | Driver Raul Torras suffers traumatic head injury in accident – Grand Prix

Macau (MNA) – Spanish driver Raul Torras suffered a traumatic head injury at the Mandarin Oriental Bend during the Suncity Group Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix free practice on Thursday morning.

The Yamaha R1 driver was admitted to the emergence room of Conde S. Januario General Hospital and was diagnosed with a traumatic head injury and subarachnoid haemorrhage, frontal scalp hematoma.

The racer from Wepole Racing by PENZ13 team was considered not fit to race and will have to undergo surgery. It was his debut in the Macau Grand Prix.

British driver Andrew Dudgeon also suffered an accident in the same practice and will also be out of the competition.
