Earth hour, lights off

Many establishments in Macau, including casinos, shops, government departments and other facilities, will once again join global efforts in the observance of Earth Hour on March 28 by switching off lights on their properties for one hour to raise awareness of climate change. Organised by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), Earth Hour has grown into a global movement with millions of supporters in more than 7,000 cities across 162 countries since its inception in 2007.
