Estate agents see little growth in factory values

Estate agents think any increases in the prices and rents of factory space in Macau will be slower this year than they have been in the past three years, Business Daily reports. It quotes Centaline (Macau) Property Agency Ltd and Midland Realty (Macau Ltd) as saying so. The newspaper also quotes the agencies as saying they expect the amount of industrial property sold or let to be about the same this year as last year because of lack of demand. Centaline Macau senior regional sales director Roy Ho Siu Hang forecasts that the average rent per square foot will rise to HK$9 (US$1.16) from about HK$7.50 last year, and that the average price will remain about HK$3,000 to HK$4,000.
