A mainlander working on the Studio City construction site in Cotai was injured when he fell one floor from the 31st floor of the building, the police say. They say the worker suffered an injury to his back and was taken to hospital. A spokesperson for the owner of the project, Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd, quoted the contractor as saying rain had made the floor that the worker had fallen from slippery. The spokesperson said the worker had been examined in hospital and discharged. The Labour Affairs Bureau said the incident failed to interrupt work on the Studio City project.
