Macau restaurant operator Future Bright Holdings Ltd says it made the winning bid for a 40-year lease of a plot of land in the Guangdong-Macau Cooperation Industrial Park on Hengqin Island, which it will use for an international food plaza. The company says it bid HK$260 million (US$33.55 million) for the land and will spend HK$1 billion on developing it. The plot will yield a gross floor area of 49,849 square metres, to be used for up to 50 restaurants and souvenir food shops, an exhibition hall and car parking.
