Construction of Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd’s resorts over the border on Hengqin Island will begin next year, Macau Daily reports. The Chinese-language newspaper quotes the company’s deputy chairman, Francis Lui Yiu-tung, as saying in an interview that the work will be done in three phases. Mr Lui said he expected the work to take seven to eight years. He said the resorts would supplement his company’s high-end, high-density facilities in Macau.
