The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has opened a public tender for the Macau Light Festival, set to run from December 4 to 31, with a bid cap of MOP20 million. The results of the public tender will be announced on August 17. The quality of each tender will be based on its fulfilment of criteria – with 20 per cent attributed to price, 30 per cent to creativity, including light and 3D usage as well as new technology ‘including cultural and creative elements’, while a further 30 per cent will be attributed to the security and efficiency of service.
