Macau | Air and maritime transportation getting back on track

Macau (MNA) – The first ferry boat leaving the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to Sheung Wan in Hong Kong departed at 09:30 on Monday, the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) has announced.

Maritime connections had been suspended during the passage of severe Typhoon Mangkhut.

The Macau International Airport (MIA) also stated that flight operations are returning to normal, with a total of 80 departures and 90 arrivals scheduled to take place today.

The first flight was expected to touch ground at 08:00 am today and the first departure at 08:50 am.

Some 160 inbound and outbound flights were cancelled on Sunday, with the airport authority previously stating that some 17 flights scheduled for today had also been cancelled.
