Macau | CEM not accountable for Macau Light Festival lack of light

CEM said in a note that it didn’t ‘received any request nor enquiry for power supply’ of the Macau Light Festival

Macau (MNA) – Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) didn’t ‘received any request nor enquiry for power supply’ of the Macau Light Festival, the company said in a communiqué on Wednesday.

‘Therefore the issue of insufficient power supply is not caused by CEM,’ the company replies to reports stating that the power supply for the festival performances was not adequate.

The company says that investigated the subject internally to determine the responsibility.

‘CEM has long been supportive to various public events organized by the Macau SAR Government. CEM will always cooperate fully to meet any request for power supply,’ the communiqué concludes.
