Macau (MNA) – The Macau SAR is to host the Asia Lottery Expo and Forum (ALEF) from May 15 to 17, 2018, a press release revealed.
To be co-located within G2E Asia 2018, the ALEF 2018 will feature professional seminars led by members of the China Lottery Industry Salon Experts Committee as well as key industry leaders.
ALEF 2018 will focus on three themes and trends that are considered to be affecting the growth of Asia’s lottery industry, namely, ‘Asian Lottery Market Trends and Dynamics,’ ‘Opportunities, Challenges of the Asia Lottery Industry and the Era of Big Data,’ and ‘Accelerating the Asia Lottery Industry – Corporate Social Responsibility and Technology Innovation Development.’
The Forum will be concluded with the industry’s networking session for lottery professionals.
The three-day event follows what organizers defined as the success of the Asia Lottery Forum and 7th China Lottery Industry Salon, which attracted over 700 lottery professionals in 2017.
Citing from the World Lottery Association, the press release noted that the Asia-Pacific’s lottery industry reported total sales of US$107.7 billion in 2016, while mainland China registered cumulative lottery sales of US$52.7 billion in the first ten months of 2017.
