According to the GDI, the readjustment of the Cotai traffic grid plan also led to the readjustment of the Ka Ho-Coloane tunnel North Connection.
‘The junction at the northern end of the tunnel will be destined to serve as an access from the eastern side of Cotai, by diversion through Avenida do Aeroporto,’ the bureau told MNA.
The tunnel is divided into three sections, namely, the Southern Exterior Section, the Tunnel Section and the Northern Connection, with the construction of the last one still to be initiated.
Last week, a contract worth MOP3 million (US$373,295) was granted to Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Limited for readjusting the plan for the north section of the tunnel.
