Macau | Electrical sub-station on artificial island in operation

Macau (MNA) – The construction project of an electrical sub-station providing 110 KVA for the operation of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge was completed on Thursday and is now operational, according to Chinese news outlet Xinhua.

The sub-station is located on the northwestern part of the artificial island where it is managed by the Zhuhai Government. The construction of the sub-station was undertaken by China Southern Power Grid.

In addition to supplying power for the superbridge, the power plant will serve the artificial island.
