Macau | Four deals to be signed during Gov't sponsored Brazil-Portugal trip - representative

Four deals that will be signed during the upcoming Macau delegation to Portugal and Brazil have been confirmed

Macau (MNA) – Four of the deals to be signed during the 19-29 June Macau trade delegation trip to Brazil and Portugal have been confirmed to Macau News Agency (MNA) by Rita Santos, who is travelling as a representative of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).

Santos told MNA that the first deal will be the establishment of a branch of the China-Lusophone-Iberian-American-Caribbean Association (CCLI) in Macau, which Santos will oversee.

The second deal, which Santos is signing as CEO of Swordsman Investment Consultancy, is a partnership with Zhong Qing New Health City.

The co-operation deal will be signed with Candy Tong, a representative of Zhong Qing New Health City, to promote health products in mainland China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The third deal will be a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with two other companies, namely, GGPI- Global of Projects and Investments Ltd and INVESTPOR- Project Investment and Engineering Inc to establish a competition to build a project on Hengqin Island called International City of Culture of Portuguese Speaking Countries.

Partnerships from Mainland China, the Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao), and eight Portuguese-speaking countries will be welcomed onboard for this project.

Lastly, Santos will ink a deal between Portuguese-based sports company BELIEVESPORT Ltd and Swordsman Investment Consultancy to develop a professional sports training centre operated by BELIEVESPORTS to reach out to the markets of China, Hong Kong, Macau and the Asia-Pacific region.

The sports centre will include soccer training.

The delegation, which consists of 60 entrepreneurs, legislator Chui Sai Peng and Macau Civil Servant’s Association (ATFPM) president Jose Pereira Coutinho will visit Lisbon first followed by Brazil in order to support trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

A business delegation involving local entrepreneurs Kevin Ho, Federico Ma Chi Seng, and Pansy Ho will only visit Lisbon to develop partnerships with Portuguese entrepreneurs.

Other deals and memorandums will be signed during the process.
