Macau (MNA) – The Global gaming Expo (G2E) Asia organisation said this Wednesday that this year’s edition will focus mainly on gaming technology, online gaming and the lottery business, offering a combined exhibitor showcase of online game development providers named ‘Digital Content & Technology’.
“There has been a lot of investors in the gaming market investing in land base casinos but recently there has been a lot of trends for investment in lottery, sport betting[…] Its the reason why we’re bringing this content,” the Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, Josephine Lee, told MNA.
The exhibition responsible also added that the CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, Lawrence Ho, will be on the main speakers at the event.
The event held at The Venetian between May 15 and 17 also aims to attract its largest participation ever with 17,000 local and international trade visitors occupying an expo space of 37,000 square metres, some 30 per cent larger than the previous year – 95 per of the space is reserved for the exhibition displays of more than 220 exhibitors.
The 2017 G2E Exhibition purportedly attracted 13,000 visitors from 84 countries and regions, generating an on-site business volume of US$21.95 million.
G2E Asia 2018 will for the first time be co-located with the Asia Lottery Expo and Forum, a business and networking expo for lottery professionals.
The event – also providing an Integrated Resort Technology & Business Solutions display fo IR products and technologies –is presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organised by Reed Exhibitions.
