Macau | Galaxy Entertainment announces salary rises of 2.5 pct to 8 pct

Macau (MNA) – Gaming operator Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced on Tuesday, a salary increase for eligible team members of 2.5 per cent to 8 per cent, effective on April 1.

According to the company’s press release, over 70 per cent of workers will enjoy a salary increase of more than 2.5 per cent.

The release further explained that staff who are receiving monthly salaries of MOP24,000 or below will receive an increment of MOP600, while those who receive monthly salaries above MOP24,000 will be awarded a 2.5 per cent salary increase.

The company added that staff who joined the company between January 2 and April 1 will enjoy a salary increase after completion of probation and 90 days of service.

In addition, GEG also announced the implementation of a five-day paternity leave for members who have been working with the company for one year or more.

The paternity leave must be taken within 30 days of the birth of their child or children, the release stated.
