Macau | Galaxy employees request 14th month bonus

Macau (MNA) – A group of workers from Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is requesting that the company reveal the status of the 14th month bonus that would be given to employees, according to a statement released by the Gaming Workers Association on Tuesday.

According to the association, other companies had already announced in July the bonuses that would be paid out to employees, with Galaxy having failed so far to do so.

GEG has posted revenues of HK$18.5 billion (US$2.36 billion) in the first half of 2018, according to the release.

In the release, it was also revealed that bonuses equivalent to one month of pay for the winter season had already been paid to employees and that the workers are hoping for a reply on 14th month bonuses.
