Macau (MNA) – Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced that it will provide a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month of salary to all eligible team members at Senior Manager level and below.
Eligible team members will receive the 2018 Discretionary Bonus equivalent to one
month of salary on January 31 2019, while team members who joined GEG between
January 2 and October 3 in 2018, will have their bonus calculated on a pro-rata basis
according to their service days in the year.
The company indicated it was providing the bonus, ‘although the gaming revenue has slowed down in recent months amid increased competition with newly opened properties’ but with GEG still ‘achieving a solid result overall last year’.
Gaming operators Wynn Macau, MGM China and Melco have also previously announced bonuses before this year’s Chinese New Year.
