Macau | Gov’t readied to coordinate latest Chinese residence permit policy

Macau (MNA) – The Macau SAR Government is already prepared to promote and to roll out linked policies concerning the latest residence permit policy announced Thursday by the Chinese State Council, the Government Spokesperson Office stated in a notice the same day.

The government anticipated that a lot of residents who are having business, working and studying in Mainland China would be benefited from the latest policy of residence permit.

With some 8,336 students from Macau who are studying on the Mainland were qualified to apply the Learning Material Subsidy for Tertiary Students in the academic year 2016 /2017, the government believed that the Chinese residence policy would benefit Macau students in China.

The Macau SAR Government pledged to fully coordinate with the central government’s policy, as well as to grab hold of the opportunities offered by the Greater Bay Area Initiative.
