Macau (MNA) – One male resident died in a fire which broke out in social housing Edifice Fai Fu in Fai Chi Kei during the early morning of Friday.
According to Judiciary Police (PJ), firefighters discovered a dead body with partially burnt limbs whilst extinguishing the flames.
The firefighters received a report of fire at 5:29 am this morning; the flat in question has been severely destroyed by the fire.
The PJ is still investigating the cause of the fire and the body of the 74-year old will undergo forensic examination for further analysis.
According to TDM Chinese Radio News, five residents felt unwell due to smoke inhalation.
