Macau (MNA) – Morpheus, the newest hotel operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment, is set to open officially on June 15, Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, the CEO and chairman of the company, announced in a press conference on Tuesday.
Featuring an avant-garde design by award-winning architectural firm helmed by the late Zaha Hadid, the property has been in the works for a decade.
During his keynote speech at the opening of G2E Asia conference this morning, Mr. Ho said the resort will be Japan themed, as reflected in its variety of services crafted in the Japanese style of fine dining, decor and relaxation.
The property will will be able to accommodate 772 guests and seeks to become a “landmark for Macau, an icon for Asia,” according to Mr. Ho.
