Macau (MNA) – Some 520 parking spaces will be offered by the new Rua da Bacia Sul car park located near Patane, a dispatch in Monday’s Official Gazette reveals.
With two underground floors, the new car park provides 306 parking spaces for light vehicles and 214 spaces for motorcars.
Parking fees for the new car park are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, with the car park to charge MOP6 per hour for light vehicles during the daytime and MOP3 per hour during the night-time.
Heavy vehicles and motorcars will be charged MOP2 for daytime and MOP1 for night-time.
Underground car parks – in particular, in low-lying areas of the city – pose threats to users during the passage of typhoons, with three drowning in flooded underground car parks last year when Typhoon Hato hit the city.
