Macau | New Cebu-Macau route in December

Macau (MNA) – A new route liking Cebu in the Philippines and Macau will be launched on December 7, 2018, Cebu Pacific has announced.

The Philippines low cost airline company will operate round trip flights between the two cities four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The new hub will mainly serve passengers from Visayas, whose capital is Cebu, and Mindanao, both islands located south of Luzon, the Philippines main and largest island where the country’s capital, Manila, is located.

Cebu Pacific is currently proposing an introductory, all-in seat sale for P999 (US$18.42/MOP148.25) until September 27 or until seats last for a travel period between December 7, 2018 to March 30, 2019.

The company launched in 1996 had also announced in the beginning of September that it was increasing the number of flights between Clark and Macau to 14 times from eight times a week.

Cebu Pacific said the new route is expected to boost its dominance of air connections between the Philippines and Macau, as it currently holds more than 50 per cent of the flights share flying directly between Macau and Cebu, Clark, and Manila.
