Macau | New Director for Judiciary Police appointed

Macau (MNA) – Acting Director for Judiciary Police (PJ) Sit Chong Meng will officially take up the position starting February 1 of this year, according to a dispatch posted in Wednesday’s Official Gazette.

Mr. Sit has been Acting Director of the PJ since December 20, 2017.

Meanwhile, Chan Kin Hong, who is currently serving as the PJ’s Acting Deputy Director, will also officially take up the post on February 1.

Appointed by Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak, Mr. Sit and Mr. Chan will hold their positions for a year.

The dispatch stated that the appointments of both are to fill vacancies.

Tou Sok Sam is the incumbent Deputy Director for the PJ.

Both graduated with a law degrees from Huaqiao University, Mr. Sit began his civil service as a clerk at the Health Bureau in 1989, while Mr. Chan joined the PJ as an assistant police officer in 1988.
