William Bascaule confirmed to Macau News Agency (MNA) on Tuesday he will be heading the Alliance Française of Macau

Macau (MNA) – The Alliance Française of Macau has a new director.

William Bascaule confirmed to Macau News Agency (MNA) on Tuesday that he will be heading the French institution in the the city.

The former deputy director of the Alliance Française in Shanghai has over 11 years of experience in Asia and is looking forward to increase the institution’s imprint on the city though the teaching of French as a second language and the promotion of French culture.

Mr. Bascaule, a trained musician, is appointed director for an initial period of two years.

The Alliance Française was created in Paris in 1883. It has 819 centres in France and 134 in other countries around the world.
