Macau | One man arrested for suspected selling virtual currency – PJ

Macau (MNA) – The Macau SAR Judiciary Police (PJ) revealed that they have arrested a local resident for suspected fraud of selling virtual currency in collaboration with local gaming operators and junkets.

The police revealed on Wednesday that they have launched an investigation into a company which allegedly promoted the sale of virtual currency in the city.

According to the police, the case was built after media raised questions to the police about a conference that was recently organised in a Cotai hotel to promote the services with the intent of co-operating with local casinos and junkets.
