SJM Theodore Racing by Prema will attempt a 9th title at this year’s FIA F3 World Cup held at the 64th Macau Grand Prix without talisman driver Felix Rosenqvist.
In last year’s Grand Prix, Rosenqvist managed a 2nd position for the locally bases team but failed an historic third consecutive 1st place at the F3 competition.
For this year, SJM Theodore Racing will bet on a four-pilot team, composed by Maximilian Günther and Ferrari Academy Drivers Callum Ilott and Zhou Guan Yu, together with Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.
“We took a memorable and record eight victory at the event back in 2015, and now believe we are in good shape to reclaim our title,” the owner of Theodore Racing, Teddy Yip Jr., said at the event.
The group also confirmed it will once partner with iGaming software supplier BBIN for this year’s Grand Prix, having initiated the partnership in 2016 and having so far managed to obtain a FIA Formula 2 Drivers’ Championship and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship Teams’ title.
