Macau (MNA) – The road renovation project at the city’s busiest street – Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro (San Ma Lo) – will be completed half a month ahead of the scheduled date, with normal traffic resuming this Thursday.
The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) stated in a notice on Monday that the project has finished renovating the underground slate channel and manholes, as well as resurfacing reinforced concrete pavements and wells for collecting water, while cleaning up related channels.
Companies and new buildings have also installed pipelines during the renovation.
In addition, IACM also completed the installation of a rain pump station and box culvert at the junction of San Ma Lo and Rua do Guimarães.
The whole renovation project was initially slated for completion on August 31.
