Macau | Visitors up by more than half y-on-y in fourth day of Golden Week

The number of visitors coming to Macau in first forth days of the Golden Week holiday period rose 21.4 pct yearly to 562,301, with the fourth day of the holiday period seeing visitor numbers go up by more than half

Macau (MNA) – A total of 562,301 people visited Macau in the first four days of the Golden Week holiday period, 21.4 per cent more than at the same time last year.

The fourth day of the holiday period or 4 October recorded some 138,122 visitors enter Macau, the largest amount of visitors in a single day so far and 51.8 per cent higher than the same day last year.

A total of 480,842 Mainland Chinese visitors entered the city during the four days, a 70.3 per cent raise up from last year with Mainland visitors representing 32.8 per cent of total visitors.
