The Magazine

Macau Business (MB) is a glossy, 4-colour monthly magazine published in A4 format.
It is the first local English-language publication to focus on the city’s business and political scenes, as well as the broader regional economy. It benefits from the insight of – and collaboration between – local journalists, analysts, economists, academics, lawyers and policymakers, as well as those in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Europe and the United States. Interviews, news reports, up-to-date profiles of noted entrepreneurs and incisive information are provided by a team of seasoned, well- established journalists and writers based in Macau and Hong Kong. Besides topical and timely articles on local and regional economic, financial and entrepreneurial matters, within the span of about 120 pages each issue, MB also publishes comprehensive analyses, case studies and opinion polls conducted by renowned universities and institutions. The magazine also offers coverage in an ‘insider’ format for advertisers and in the special advertising sections which are of general interest to our readers. We fully expect Macau Business’ advertising sections to grow as companies, governmental departments, banking and financial institutions, along with commercial and industrial associations disclose pertinently vital information on the development of the SAR’s different economic sectors. Simultaneously, we maintain a website at www.macaubusiness.com. This site, according to search engine results (from Google, Yahoo, MSN and Lycos), is consistently rated at the top in terms of the number of visitors (over seven million).

Distribution
Macau Business is available by subscription and is sold at bookstores, newsstands and convenience stores in Macau and Hong Kong. Its fast growing overseas subscriptions cover Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada and USA.

The Group
De Ficção Multimedia Projects
, the media arm of Project Asia Corp., is the leading business media group in Macau. De Ficção is independently owned and publishes Macau Business magazine (in English) and Business Intelligence (in traditional Chinese characters). The group also publishes a daily newsletter and a daily newspaper, Business Daily.
The group has achieved an immense market credibility, penetration and continuous growth: both in terms of circulation and reach. The magazines enjoy genuine interest not only from the local market but also from foreign and mainland tourists and investors, as well as with regional and international subscribers – which are increasing at a remarkably rate every month.
