Macau (MNA) – Italian driver Raffaele Marciello finished the first qualification race of this year’s SJM Macau GT Cup – FIA GT World Cup.
The Mercedes-AMG Gruppem Racing Team driver achieved a 02:16.800s best lap in his second visit to the Macau race track.
Last year’s 4th place, Brazilian driver Augusto Farfus managed the second fastest time today with 02:17.357s in his BMW M6 GT3, with two-time winner, German driver Maro Engel – finishing in third with 02:17.422s.
The 2017 Macau GT Cup winner and four-time champion, Swiss-Italian Edoardo Mortara, finished outside of the podium positions in 4th.
The last FIA GT World Cup qualification race will take place on Saturday at 1:05 pm.
