Mung Kin Keung resigns from China Star Entertainment

The Co-chairman and Executive Director of China Star Entertainment, Mung Kin Keung, resigned from the company on Friday in order to dedicate more time to other business activities. The decision was made public in a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by the company that controls Lan Kwai Fong hotel in Macau. According to the information released, the entertainment group will not have to pay any compensation for this decision. “Mr. Mung confirmed that he has no claims whatsoever against the company for fees, compensation for loss of office, remuneration, severance payments, pension, expenses or otherwise and there is no disagreement with the board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company”, China Star Entertainment explained in a filing. The resignation of Mr. Mung leaves Charles Heung Wah Keung as the only Chairman of China Star Entertainment.
