TTG China is the most read travel trade publication in Greater China. Launched in 1998, TTG China was the first travel agent newspaper for Chinese speaking travel agents in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. Modeled after the influential annual TTG Travel Awards, the TTG China Travel Awards are decided by the votes of readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG-BTmice China and TTGmice to honor the exceptional standards of hotels in the Greater China region. The awards also serve as an excellent benchmark in the travel and tourism industry’s advancement in the Asia Pacific region.

Since its grand opening in December 2007, MGM GRAND Macau’s relentless pursuit of excellence in service and style has earned for itself a host of international accolades, including one Michelin star for signature restaurant Imperial Court, recognition in the Mobil Travel Guide, the award for “Best New Property” at the HotelClub Awards in 2008 and the award for “The Best Luxurious Hotel in China” in the fourth annual China Hotel Starlight Award.

Grant R. Bowie, President of MGM GRAND Macau, said, “We are truly honored to be recognized in this category by the TTG readers and fellow professionals in the industry. This award recognizes MGM GRAND Macau’s position as a luxury resort hotel. Macau now plays an important role in the development of the tourism industry across the region, and we are proud to be able to play our part in this transformation of Macau.”

MGM GRAND Macau is an icon on the Macau skyline and has become a lifestyle destination for travelers who appreciate thoughtful attention to every aspect of their visit. Dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional level of personalized service, the property has become synonymous with the new Macau. And, the “Best New Hotel” award from TTG China Travel Awards 2009 further emphasizes the heights the hotel has reached in its first year of operation.
