VIP room gaming promoter Asia Entertainment & Resources Ltd. posted US$1.7 billion (MOP13.6 billion) of unaudited rolling chip turnover for last month.
This represents a 24 percent increase year-over-year.
“We performed strongly during the last eight days of January, which encompassed the Chinese New Year period,” said AERL chairman Lam Man Pou.
“Our rolling chip turnover during those last eight days was US$823 million — an average of over US$100 million per day.”
The company operates three VIP rooms, at Venetian Macao, Galaxy Macau and StarWorld, respectively.
