Galaxy Macau yesterday officially inaugurated its 3D cinema complex, UA Galaxy Cinemas.
Movie star Jet Li and director Tsui Hark were among the celebrities invited to the opening.
The program included the premiere of Mr Tsui’s latest film, “The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D” – the first Chinese wuxia movie in 3D – starring Jet Li.
Lui Che-woo, chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group, that owns and manages Galaxy Macau, said the company would continue “to provide attractions and facilities that have never been available in Macau before.”
UA Galaxy Cinemas occupies nearly 16,000 square metres, with a total capacity of approximately 1,000 cinema seats.
