Proprietor and chef Umberto Bombana (pictured, right) already has 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana Italian restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Hong Kong restaurant has three Michelin stars.

The Macau restaurant will be in the Galaxy Macau’s Ritz-Carlton hotel.

The second phase of the casino-resort is scheduled to open in the middle of 2015.
