Housing prices fall sharply

Home prices fell sharply last month.
The average transaction price per square metre of residential space dropped to MOP38,271 (US$4,784) in November, a 8.1 percent month-on-month decrease, according to data from the Financial Services Bureau.
The good news for the sector was that the volume of home sales increased for the third consecutive month.
There were 582 transactions, 6.2 percent more than in October.
