After falling for three months in a row, home prices increased again in August.
The average price per square metre of residential space reached MOP39,271 (US$4,909) in August, up 2.2 percent month-on-month, according to the Financial Services Bureau.
Home prices in August were 34.4 percent higher than a year before.
What is not slowing down is the drop in the volume of home sales. The number of deals went south in August for the third straight month.
There were only 527 transactions, almost 25 percent less than in July.
