The first official Macau government representation in Taiwan opened its doors last Friday (December 2), the government announced.
The Macau Economic, Trade and Cultural Office is located in the Taipei 101 building.
The office is led by Nadia Leong Kit Chi, former secretary general of the Tourism Development Support Commission.
The office will focus on offering assistance to Macau residents in Taiwan and promoting tourism, cultural, health and education exchanges between the two sides. It won’t have a political role.
