Macau Water to replace electric equipment at plant

Macao Water Supply Company Ltd. yesterday announced it will replace the electrical equipment in the Ilha Verde water treatment plant.
This comes after an energy failure earlier this month.
The company said its engineering staff has already finished an overall feasibility assessment and review of the project before commencement.
The company says it has in place an emergency response action plan that will be immediately activated if any problem occurs during the replacement of the electrical equipment.
