More telecom operators only likely in late 2013

The public tender for two new fixed telephone line operators kicked of this week, running until March 27.
However, it is likely the selected players will only start providing their services in late 2013, the government admits.
Interested operators are requested to build their own network.
They will have to cover at least 30 percent of the residential area of Macau within 18 months after the open tender ends.
