New company wants to sail from Pac On
|
Posted: 1/10/2012 4:12:17 PM
The Maritime Administration has received a proposal from a ferry company that wants to operate from the Pac On temporary terminal, in Taipa.
The information was confirmed by the Maritime Administration to Portuguese-language newspaper Jornal Tribuna de Macau.
The bureau didn’t provide any details about the company or the proposed sailing routes.
The Maritime Administration said it is currently assessing whether the temporary terminal has the capacity to allocate more ferries. If the answer is positive, it will then open a public tender ahead of issuing new licenses, a spokesperson told Jornal Tribuna de Macau.
