The price for offices came down 7.1 percent quarter-to-quarter in the three months ended September.
In that period, the average price of office units stood at MOP34,011 (US$4,251) per square metre, the Statistics and Census Service said.
At the same time, the number of transactions stayed put quarter-on-quarter, at 278.
In addition, the average price of industrial units continued to increase: it went up by 25.1 percent quarter-on-quarter to MOP14,678 per square metre.
As already reported, the transactions of residential units decreased significantly in the third quarter of 2011 on account of the measures introduced by the government to curb the soaring property prices.
There were 2,194 residential units purchased and sold for a total of MOP5.92 billion, down by 73.4 percent and 82.2 percent respectively over the previous quarter.
The average transaction price of all residential units amounted to MOP36,345 per square metre of usable area, down by 17.9 percent quarter-to-quarter.
