Sands China Ltd. and Wynn Macau Ltd. may be announced tomorrow as the latest additions to the Hang Seng Index, says BNP Paribas.
In a research note released Monday and quoted by MarketWatch, the French bank says the move could take place as part of the Hang Seng Index´s quarterly rebalancing due to be unveiled tomorrow.
BNP Paribas said both stocks rank high in terms of market capitalization and turnover.
The Hang Seng Index includes 50 index constituents but currently there are two stocks vacant.
BNP Paribas said there were few alternatives as Sands China and Wynn Macau were the “only eligible non-financial candidates.”
