ZAiA will be performed for the final time on February 19,

Sands China Ltd. and Cirque du Solei announced in a statement.

The two companies said that “ZAiA has opened the door for a new era of entertainment in Macau.”

According to the statement released this evening, Sands China and Cirque du Solei are “currently discussing a variety of options for working together on other projects,” without adding more details on what these projects are.

Gus Liem, the Venetian’s vice president of entertainment, said “the company will again be investing to redesign the theatre to open up a new world of exciting entertainment opportunities for Macau.”

The show first opened at the Venetian in August 2008.
