The total value of goods exported to mainland China under the CEPA (Closer Economic Partnership) hit the lowest for the year in October, down 43.5 per cent month-on-month, amounting to MOP4.01 million.

According to the latest information released by the Macao Economic Services (DSE), the total amount of exported goods to mainland China for the past ten months reached MOP68.42 million.

The accumulated exports of CEPA goods has reached MOP834.89 million since the implementation of the zero-tariff trade policy between the SAR and the Mainland in 2004.

Meanwhile, there were some 628 local firms holding Macau Service Supplier certificates as at the end of October.

Official data shows that 309 local certificate holders were engaged in transport services such as freight forwarding, logistics, storage, and warehousing and transport.

Following these firms were those engaged in medical and dental services, accounting for 150 certificate holders.
