Parking lot tender announced

The Transport Bureau (DSAT) has opened a public tender for the management and exploitation rights of five parking lots, a dispatch in the Official Gazette declared yesterday.
According to the release, interested parties may submit their proposals by October 11 of this year in order to be eligible to obtain a contract valid for six years to manage the parking lots in Taipa Central Park, Rua da Ponte Negra, Koi Nga, Lok Kuan and Ip Heng buildings.
The applications must be filed by businessmen or commercial bodies engaged in the management of parking lots in the MSAR, while consortiums may not apply.
A MOP1 million (US$124,080) deposit will have to be provided upon application, with a further MOP5 million deposit for the accepted company (or companies) upon receiving the contract.
